SPIRITUAL JOURNEY BIBLE STUDY
 Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. All
are welcome to this time of fellowship, friendship and study. This fall the study will be the
Letters to the Romans. This follows the study of Acts that was completed last spring. The study
group will be looking to see how Paul's letters to the church at Rome apply for us in our
understanding today.
This is a group that studies together, prays together, looks at how local and world events are
affecting our communites and congregation and have become a support group for the members and
others. You do not have to come every week. We realize there are times when it is not possible to
attend.
FOODBANK SUNDAY
Second Sunday of Each Month
 The people of Foothills United Church
support families in our city by bringing donations for the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank on the
second Sunday of each month. We dedicate these gifts along with our morning offering.
CARE NOTES AND THE UPPER ROOM
The Pastoral Care Committee invites you to make use of the inspirational writings found in the
CARE NOTES and THE UPPER ROOM. Both of these publications can be found in the pamphlet rack in the
foyer of the church. You may cover the costs of these materials with a small donation of $1.00 per
copy by dropping your donations in the offering plate.
